The spacers wheel fitted as standard on modern off-road motorcycles, if they are made of aluminum, highlight notoriously accelerated wear at the contact point with the oil seal lip. The groove that is formed at that point nullifies the action of the oil seal, resulting in the accelerated wear of the bearings, due to infiltration of water and earth. The ProX wheel spacers have been designed to overcome this problem and the result obtained allows to have the strength of steel but with the weight of the aluminum! Indeed, such spacers are made of aluminum, with black hard anodizing, and encapsulated for pressing with a steel shell, positioned in the point of contact with the lip of the oil seal.
