Reinforced chain loop
Manufactured by machine tools, machining 3cm thick high density polyethylene (PEHD) from the solid side. It is installed without removing the chain as it consists of two parts, one internal and one external. Compared to traditional chainrings, in addition to lower wear, the AXP reinforced chainring has a much higher lateral flexion and impact resistance; these characteristics help to avoid derailing the chain in case of frontal and/or lateral impact.
