The air filter is the most important element to prevent engine wear. For this reason the filters are POLIAIR (the only ones) constructed with three layers of sponge having three different porosity to hold any kind of impurities. Built in the Netherlands, where the peculiarities of sandy soils, have gained the most significant experiences in the field. As is known, the 4-stroke engines can have a return by the aspiration of flame which could reach up to the air filter and burn it. To overcome this drawback builders install a flame arrestor retina before the filter, but this invalidates the performance! The POLIAIR filters are made with a special self-extinguishing material to allow the elimination of the retina flame arrestor, increasing engine performance! Do not use gasoline or other solvents to clean them, but the special REMOVER article MXP108334.
