Given the great power and enormous torque of modern off-road engines, the clutch and its handling have become essential to excel at the highest level.
This is why SUTER INDUSTRIES has developed the special clutches called SUTERCLUTCH BTL and SUTERCLUTCH MX-LINE specifically for off-road use.
These clutches are extremely easy to fit, using the original clutch bell and clutch plates, while the coil springs that compress the clutch plates are replaced by a diaphragm spring. They do not require specific tools or any complicated maintenance.
The design study, the construction material, the painstaking workmanship and the special Teflon-coated anodizing allow a long life, perfect and long-lasting smoothness, no drop in performance during use, even extreme. They are perfectly adaptable to any driving style and clutch lever feeling by simply replacing one (MX-LINE model) or two disc springs.
The anti-slipping version (BTL) differs from other similar products on the market thanks to the more effective clutch release system.
The lower part is equipped with a special ball expansion system that generates the anti-slipping effect, lifting only the special disc push plate.
This guarantees a better solidity (and therefore durability) of the hub; the action of the clutch is instantaneous and very effective, not having to overcome any friction or push upwards the clutch plates compressed by the springs and also part of the hub itself, as happens on products of other brands.
The anti-slipping action also reduces the strain on the mechanical components of the engine, especially the gearbox, prevents excessive engine revs and maximizes the performance of the single shock absorber.
SUTER's BTL anti-slip clutch controls all aspects generated by the engine brake with extreme precision, in order to achieve a precise entry into corners even, for example, in case of late braking and/or potholes that would make the bike kick but also when landing from jumps.
Thanks to the SUTERCLUTCH BTL, less physical effort is required from the driver, allowing better timekeeping performance.
Like the MX-LINE version, the BTL version is a more robust and wear-resistant clutch than the original, with an extremely precise response and excellent adjustability, in order to guarantee lightning fast gate release and a gear change without loss of traction.
The benefits of using a SUTER anti-slip clutch have also been demonstrated by the lightning fast starts and results of the WILVO team riders (Arnaud Tonus, Guatier Paulin both in the MXGP top5) and the Team Gebben Racing team (Alessandro Lupino).
