The DEP response to the new technological challenge of 4 days: reduce the noise and not performance! The new design with a rectangular section of the silencer allows an increase in volume of the sound absorbing material equal to 32%. The new and more enveloping the fastening structure ensures maximum solidity also in the event of side impact. The inner tube is no bulkheads and presents innovative solutions to limit noise without affecting the performance. The central section, that is, the connecting pipe between the muffler and the collector, is anchored by means of springs and not welded, to prevent breakage due to bending.
